Market Partners: access to the open market

Research conversations / Enterprise engagement

30 meetings in five weeks

Market Partners’ engagement involved a 250,000-employee technology enterprise that could not ask its own customers how they buy. The outreach reached people across the open market and secured half-hour research conversations.

What the result means: 30 meetings were arranged in five weeks. Twenty-seven participants gave the same answer, informing the direction of the work that followed. These were research conversations; this figure is not a claim of 30 sales-qualified opportunities or 30 customers.

What to learn: The reason for contacting someone and the definition of a useful response matter. A research invitation should be evaluated against its research objective, not automatically reported as sales pipeline.

Linen and More: focus the audience before scaling

Bed linen manufacturing / B2B prospecting

From broad lists to relevant bedding businesses

Linen and More sells into bedding e-commerce. Its published account describes two years of bought lists and cold LinkedIn activity returning no results before the audience was narrowed to stores whose actual product is bedding.

Campaigns went live in April 2026. The client account reports hundreds of replies and five to six negotiations running at once within four months. The previously published six-week headline was $200,000 in pipeline; pipeline represents potential opportunity value, not a statement of collected revenue.

What to learn: A narrower audience can make the campaign more relevant. Replies and negotiations still require sales work before they become customers.

How to read a lead generation case study

  • Check whether the outcome is replies, qualified leads, booked meetings, pipeline or closed revenue.
  • Check the audience, offer and timeframe rather than transferring a headline to your business.
  • Separate the campaign’s contribution from the client’s follow-up and closing.
  • Use your own deal value and funnel rates when evaluating the investment.
